There are different types of articles found in Scholarly Nursing Journals. Not everything published in a Professional Nursing Journal is a research article. Book reviews, editorials and case studies are also found in nursing journals. So examine what you find.
Is it evidence-based? What makes an article evidence-based? Original research articles share support as to why or why not certain treatments are provided.
Here are some examples of different types of articles [publications] found in professional nursing journals. Individual clinical studies are not the only material in a journal --- editorials, book reviews, systematic reviews, literature reviews, CEUs, and more are also included.
