At the R.A. Williams Library, we contract with two major streaming video vendors. Thus, we have a wonderful variety of academic subjects represented in streaming videos.
So, what is a streaming video?
The term video we are familiar with - the medium of the moving picture, usually accompanied by sound.
The term "streaming" refers to the method in which the video is delivered to the viewer. The data is an actual stream, moving through the Internet, coming from a server to the computer desktop.
