Searching Films on Demand:

  • Type subject in search box. Click "magnifier".
  • Can share a segment of video or full video.
  • Playlists available.
  • Click "Share" to copy URL for video.
  • "Cite" feature provided.
  • Can create "custom segments".

Create an Account

To create Custom Clips/Segments you must have an account.

To create an account.  Go to the Library Website:

Under Find: - Click Databases

                    - Click Films on Demand Health &

                       Medicine Collection

                    - Click Create Account (Top Right)

How do I embed a Films on Demand streaming video in Canvas?

See the Canvas tab.

Create a Custom Segment

-Type subject to search in box - click Search. Find a video.

-Login to your account or Create an Account

-Click "Play" - determine what part of the video you want to make a clip of

-Click "Segment (look for scissors)"; Fill in Start Time and End Time. Type in Title of Segment.

-Save by Clicking "Create Segment"

-Under My Content select the Clip you want then select Share.

-Click Embed/Link. Choose Segement URL and paste into Canvas
